學生的呼喊讓Reid回過神來。

他們在FBI學院演講，講到之前抓獲的一個對愛倫。坡作品有偏執傾向的殺人犯，有學生要求BAU成員背誦愛倫。坡的詩作。

Reid背完之後，沉默得沒有任何反應。

“Yes？”Reid看了看其他成員，應道。

“You　miss　her”留著西瓜頭造型的男孩問他。

“Whom？”Reid問道，“Are　we　still　in　Edgar　Allan　Poe？”

“Yeah；so　I　was　wondering　if　you　ever　met　your　Annabel　Lee　before　you　started　the　poem”男孩道，“And　after　that　I’m　pretty　sure　you　met　your　Annabel　Lee　and　then　I　asked　if　you　missed　her。”

“No；and　yes”Reid抿抿嘴唇，“I　did　meet　my　Annabel　Lee。And　then；I　became　someone　else；and　met　my　someone　else；whom　I　missed　for　too　manyyears；and　will　miss　until　the　end　of　my　life。”

提問的男孩是個不看到真相不罷休的熊孩子。

“孩子，你的好奇心太強了。”Rossi和Hotch同時出聲。

Reid看著滿眼強烈求知慾的男孩，答道。

“Renoir。”Reid出聲。

演講結束時，好奇心奇強的熊孩子在一旁等著Reid。

“They　are　pleasant　memories”Reid看看孩子的胸牌，把自己的名片給了男孩，“Latryen。　Oneday；if　you　e　to　BAU；just　call　me。”

回到辦公室的BAU小組，繼續進入下一輪的罪犯追擊。

一個星期前BAU小組新加入了FBI臥底八年的打拐專家Kate　Callahan。

演講回來第二天，Kate看著Reid衣櫃旁邊空著的、同樣寫著‘Reid’字樣的衣櫃，幽默地問JJ：“這衣櫃是空的還是小博士一個人兩個衣櫃？”

JJ嘆口氣：“本來是Irene的衣櫃。”

“Irene？”Kate反應過來，“So　he　became　Renoir！What　happened　to　herI　never　saw　her。”
