如果她外表美麗，她的生命能否會是另一番情形呢？或許會的。不過她有一種從外表看來無法詮釋的聰穎和秀美。她的聲音正是我們所要聆聽的那種，她的言語能輕易地進駐人們的心靈。她的雋語處於一顆受過傷害卻滿懷愛意的心之中，如所有人的心一樣，只是她比別人更關注自己的心靈，更關注專心體會生活並從中學習來獲得提高。她有一種細膩的美。她生命中唯一懼怕的就是失去朋友。
像她這樣如此高度的成熟我們要花費多長時間才可能達到呢？最終能否真正達到還不得而知。我們總是身心俱疲，懷才不遇，只擔心眼前的不足，卻忽視了那些經久不衰的東西。友誼珍貴且美好，要我們用心去呵護，有時簡單的暗示便已足夠了。比如偶爾給朋友寫幾句話，或把一些感人的美文寫在紙條上投入籃子裡，以供大家分享，讓大家一起記住這美妙時刻的美好感覺。
她的生命真諦便是透過事物的表面認清其實質。她發現了美和慈愛，而美和慈愛也把她當做朋友，把生命的真諦展現給她。

There were a sensitivity and a beauty to her that have nothing to do with looks。 She was one to be listened to； whose words were so easy to take to heart。
It is said that the true nature of being is veiled。 The labor of words； the expression of art； the seemingly ceaseless buzz that is human thought all have in mon the need to get at what really is so。 The hope to draw close to and possess the truth of being can be a feverish one。 In some cases it can even be fatal； if pleasure is one’s truth and its attainment more important than life itself。 In other lives； though； the search for what is truthful gives life。
I used to find notes left in the collection basket； beautiful notes about my homilies and about the writer’s thoughts on the daily scriptural readings。 The person who penned the notes would add reflections to my thoughts and would always include some quotes from poets and mystics he or she had read and remembered and loved。 The notes fascinated me。 Here was someone immersed in a search for truth and beauty。 Words had been treasured； words that were beautiful。 And I felt as if the words somehow delighted in being discovered； for they were obviously very generous to the as yet anonymous writer of the notes。 And
