如果你想讓自己的人生有所成就，請不要忘記，我們必須堅持。如果我們希望學業有成，就必須勤奮努力，並且，不管何時，遇到怎樣的困難，都永不放棄。我們會發現很多課程非常難，但要想到如果我們能持之以恆，徹底地學會它們，那麼，難度越大，我們從中獲益也就越多。
但是，我們當中有些人，當他們遇到數學難題時就準備放棄，說：“我不會做這道題。”如果他們這樣覺得，那麼永遠也不能攻克難題。“我不行”對任何事都毫無作用，然而“我會盡力”則會創造奇蹟。要謹記，人生中，我們會有很多困難，這是每個人都必須經歷的。如果我們不斷地努力，那麼，遇到的每一個難題一定都能被征服和戰勝。如果今日我們能竭力學好遇到困難的課程，那麼，明日更大的難題，我們也能有所準備。而且，如果我們掌握了學校裡的困難課程，那麼當我們的學生時代結束後，它也會為我們戰勝生活中的困難而作好準備。
